These three words are at the heart of Married by Paola.

Meaning in every word we choose. Belonging in a ceremony where you and the people you love feel part of something real. Presence in the way I listen, write and stand beside you when the moment finally arrives.

I became a celebrant later in my professional life, but looking back, I can see a red thread quietly leading me here all along.

I am a professionally trained celebrant and member of FederCelebranti. Before dedicating myself fully to ceremonies, I spent ten years as a destination wedding planner in Italy and later taught future wedding professionals at Accademia degli Eventi in Rome. Today, being a celebrant is my profession and the natural meeting point of everything I have learnt along the way.

I grew up in the countryside of Le Marche and later lived and studied in England. My path has also taken me through hospitality, translation, fashion, travel and community work. Each chapter taught me something about people, language and the importance of listening before trying to tell someone's story.

Alongside my work as a celebrant, I am the Italian National Coordinator for Creators of Peace, where I facilitate Peace Circles built around listening rather than judging and understanding rather than persuading. That experience continues to shape the way I meet every couple.

I still study literature, voice and public speaking because beautiful words are only part of a ceremony. They also need to be spoken with confidence, warmth and presence.

Perhaps that is what the red thread was leading me towards all along: the place where my experience meets your story.

Where I Work

Based in the countryside of Le Marche, I travel across Italy and Europe to celebrate international couples wherever their story takes them.

From Tuscany, Lake Como and Venice to Rome, Puglia and the Amalfi Coast, every place brings its own character to a ceremony.

I am also proud to collaborate with Borgo San Felice Resort in Tuscany as one of their preferred celebrants.
