I do not just show up; I envision the space
The Modern Amphitheater Why the Semi Circle Layout is Changing Everything
The Art of the Unexpected
Let’s be honest: for decades, wedding ceremonies have followed a very predictable "theater" style. Guests in straight rows, looking at the backs of the couple, who in turn stare at the celebrant. It’s traditional, yes. But is it intimate? Not exactly.
Lately, I’ve been encouraging my couples to "break the fourth wall" by choosing a semi-circle layout.
Why? Because a ceremony isn't a performance to be watched from afar; it’s a moment to be shared. By curving the seating and having the couple face their guests (with their backs to the landscape), we transform the space. Suddenly, your family and friends aren't just observers—they are participants. They can see the catch in your breath, the tear before the "I do," and the joy in your eyes.
Modern Intimacy
In a world that’s increasingly digital, Modern Intimacy is the ultimate luxury.
Why I Love It:
Sightlines: Everyone gets a "front row" feel. No more dodging large hats or tall cousins to see the rings.
Connection: When you look out and see the faces of those who love you most, the nerves melt away. It’s a hug made of chairs.
Aesthetics: It looks incredible in photos. It’s dynamic, architectural, and deeply sophisticated.
